Description

Excellent classic margarita. Perfect for Friday night Fajitas or with guacamole and/or pico de gallo and tortilla chips.

What you need
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp Chaotic Housewife Mexican Seasoning
  • 1.5 ounce tequila - silver or blanco
  • 1 ounce orange liqueur, Grande Marnier, Contreau, or Triple Sec
  • 1 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice (about 1 lime)
  • 1 lime wedge (Slice 1 lime into 8 wedges for garnish)
Instructions

    1. Prepare Glass (margartita glass or short cocktail glass)
    1. In a small shallow plate or dish mix together salt and mexican seasoning
    2. Wet rim of glass with lime wedge and place down into salt mixture, evenly salt rim.
    3. Set aside

    2. Mix Margartita
    1. Fill Shaker about 1/2 full of ice.
    2. Add tequila, orange liqueur and lime juice.
    3. Shake vigorously for 1 minute.
    4. Strain into margarita glass or serve in short cocktail glass over ice.
    5. Garnish with Lime.
